After updating KDE Apps to 16.04.2 on Manjaro Linux (which uses mostly Arch packages) I can't disable menu bar in Kwrite anymore. 
According panel button and menu entry toggles status bar instead of menu bar. 
All was good before update. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Click on "toggle menu bar" panel button / "show menu bar" menu entry.

Actual Results:  
Status bar toggling with menu bar in place.

Expected Results:  
Toggle menu bar.

Works ok for me in Kate.

Works fine here too (Kate 16.08.3-KF5.28 (32bit) on windows 10)
