Description Fred Wells 2016-06-24 13:17:11 UTC
Get the following error when trying to connect to sftp site...
sftp://<user>@<mysite>:<port>// is a folder, but a file was expected.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create desktop "Link to location"
2. Click on link
3. Receive error

Actual Results:
Get the following error when trying to connect to sftp site...
sftp://<user>@<mysite>:<port>// is a folder, but a file was expected.

Expected Results:
Connect to site without error.

Exact same URL works fine from command-line, dolphin.

It seems this may be a regression, since I seem to recall this exact error occurring in the past and being fixed. Although, I don't recall the history.

Is this still a problem on the 19.12 release?

I for one cannot reproduce this. So if it is please provide more detailed steps to reproduce

I'm doing:
Right click on desktop -> create new -> link to location ->
filename: localhost
enter link to location: sftp://me@localhost:22//
-> ok -> click newly created link -> dolphin opens listing the root of localhost

Appears to have been resolved since reported.
No longer a problem. Works for me now.
