The duration of display of an image in slide show mode can't be configured. 

The version as reported by Help -> About Gwenview is 15.12.3.

Steps to Reproduce:
Look in the settings.

There's a little button right underneath the "exit full screen" button in the top right corner. If you click this button, it will allow you to adjust the duration.
