Image of process usage
I've had very high plasmashell CPU usage since Plasma 5.6 ( continues in 5.7 ) - the usage seems directly related to the number of system tray icons active. I've attached a screen-shot indicating load ave and process CPU and you can see that it is very high. As I exit apps that have icons in the systray, the CPU consumption of the plasmashell process comes down. Exiting Chrome, Amarok, ownCloud and KeepAssX for eg. drops the above consumption from ave 60% to 25%. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 356479 *** |
