Description André Fettouhi 2016-06-19 09:07:44 UTC
I am running Ubuntu 16.04 with the indicator-kdeconnect app and I am trying to connect my Nexus 7 (2012) running Android 5.1.1 and the latest version on kdeconnect app from the Google Play Store. I have the firewall turned off and the app sees my tablet but I try to pair it just times out.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open kdeconnect on desktop and android
2. Click device
3. Try to pair

Actual Results:
Timeout

Expected Results:
Pairing

Forgot to mention that I can connect my Nexus 7 fine under Arch Linux.

fyi, latest kde-connect from google play store is 1.0 , and is incompatible with latest released kdeconnect-kde-0.9 for linux.

You can get kde-connect 0.9g for android from fdroid.org instead (that's what I did).

Got it working now by using the plasma module to pair the device. Works now.
