Description Roland Leißa 2016-06-18 02:25:22 UTC
Sometimes I cannot send emails via smtp (gmail in my case). I'm pretty sure this only happens after having put my notebook to sleep.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put notebook to sleep
2. Wake up
3. send email via gmail

Actual Results:
"Failed to transport message. smtp.gmail.com: Socket operation timed out"
and email remains in "Local Folders/outbox".

Expected Results:
send email via smtp

Version is kmail 5.2.2 - this is not selectable in the bug tracker's UI.

I'm pretty sure, it's the same bug as:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=278020

But the maintainer asked to open a new bug report.

seems to be fixed. I'll reopen if I encounter the problem again.
