This is the bug report. Just read it and you get all information you need. I just want to show that this is important to me, too.

This bug report is about knotes not okular
so why you added
"Same for Okular Version 0.24.2

Please add this feature!"

what is the relation with knotes ?

I'm sorry, this is absolutely my fault. The description fits perfectly. I will suggest this feature / bug for the Okular application.

Thank you for reporting this bug in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version?

If you can reproduce the issue, please change the status to "REPORTED" when replying. Thank you!

Look, I just used this program via my distro. I use Linux Mint 21 (uses Jammy packages)

This is now KNotes Version 5.19.3.

That particular search error is resolved.

However, if I open "Find..." dialog, and then create a new note and then return to the Find dialog and search for "hello", it won't find the match in the newly created note.
