There are some known bugs with Kaffeine 1.2.2 and several file formats. Since Kaffeine 1.3.x, we replaced the backend that reproduces video from Xine to VLC.

So, this bug is likely fixed on the current version (Kaffeine 2.0.3). Please test.

As this bug is for a too old version of Kaffeine, I'm closing it.
