We're aware of this issue and in Wayland this will be possible but not before that. In the meantime, use eg. ksuperkey, thanks. Users have been complaining about this since 2009. That's 7 years ago. SEVEN YEARS. I'm sorry, but where were you guys thinking? Do you have a product manager who can set priorities based on user input? This is a free software project, whose contributors are primarily volunteers. Questioning motives or any perceived lack of priorities is not constructive.
