ubuntu 16.04, installation of parley with "sudo apt-get install parley" without error, ubuntu is updated (10. Jun. 2016)
(installation with "ubuntu software" not possible - parley is not proposed after a search for parley)

start parley,
click on "create new collection",
click on "OK"
window "edit languages" opens
leaving everything unchanged,
click on "OK"
parley-window with new collection is shown for 1 second,
parley-window disappears, crash

Do you get the crash dialog? If yes, please add the backtrace from the "Developer Information" tab.

Without a backtrace, unfortunately it is not possible to investigate this problem. Following the given steps, I cannot reproduce the reported issue.
However, I *think* this problem is fixed (there is a recent fix). But this is impossible to say without looking at a backtrace. Hence, I am closing this report for now. If you can provide a backtrace as described in the above given link, please feel free to re-open it.
