that's what i see when clicking the taskbar entry. the issue persists even after reboot QXcbConnection: XCB error: 8 (BadMatch), sequence: 52951, resource id: 50331653, major code: 42 (SetInputFocus), minor code: 0 looks like it is caused by that non-good kactivities: on another machine i have a folder view configured which is gone after the same update ... but the "Add widget" popup still shows it as active. (on that machine, though, the same saved-session-konsole still works). another indication is that after said update the background images where gone. and last and most damning: that s*** activities bean is back -- now a "sandwich" but still the same rotten crap. it thankfully was gone before, but sadly i can't remember how i got rid of that nuisance back then :( FWIW, I have a patch pending that fixes this https://phabricator.kde.org/D1982 |
