Screenshot of detached drop-down list
Looks like a Qt bug to me, I have a similar issue with context menus; if I open a context menu on the right monitor so it touches the edge of the screen, all submenus will open on the left monitor instead. Just for reference: The bug with the misplaced context menus can be found at: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-53813 Seems there is NVIDIA involved: when I switch GPU to Intel (using NVIDIA X server settings then issue is gone. Also is gone that nasty diagonal tearing and laggy UI update. This should be confirmed - I have the same issue, see #367477. I got an email that the status of this bug changed to "RESOLVED UPSTREAM". However, I can't see here in Bugzilla who changed the status, or any other information about the solution. |
