I can connect to my NAS server on lan, with or without password. The difference is, that, if i connect without password, i can't change, delete or add anything, just browse, or watch.

Therefore, i need to attach the location "with" password. And, it works well on first adding the location with pass, but, if i add this location to Bookmarks, next time i start the Krusader 15.08- Beta, it wont attach the location with password, just location with username, but, the password is not saved, and i can't adding or changing the password anywhere. I must go to new net connection, and readd the location, name and password, to able to have the location on my NAS with password.

My Linux distro is KaOS Linux 16.04 (KDE Plasma 5.6.4, Qt 5.6.0, Kernel 4.4.5-1) x64

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create new smb Net Connection with name and password
2. Add the location to Bookmarks
3.Try to reconnect next time you open Krusader - it will connect, but without password, just as annonymous - the password is not saved.

Actual Results:  
password of net connection (smb) is not saved on Bookmarking the location.

Expected Results:  
Password should saved, if added on new net connection, and the location is added on Bookmarks.

On Editing Bookmarks, it should have option to be possible to change the actual password, if any.

Isn't this a security feature? Passwords are removed from URL links before displaying or saving them .

Can you reproduce on a newer version? I've tried with the 2.8.0+ (git), I can create a network connection (remote:/) and save the password in the local wallet.

I can edit the bookmark pointing to the remote, where the password is not shown/stored. A different username will ask for new credentials and rolling back to the original one, it pops the password from the wallet again.

If you cannot create remote connection from Krusader (because the "Add Network Folder" is opened in Kate as a text file), you can do it in Dolphin without worries, remote:/ is shared in KDE.
