Duration column working properly

Description kiran 2016-05-20 22:11:55 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #322023 +++

Video duration in Details Mode not available. Can not view duration file without opening and cannot sort bu duration as well.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Dolphin
2. Navigate to any folder containing videos
Actual Results:
Duration details not available.

Expected Results:
Like Audio, we need a category for video and should display video specific attributes such as Duration, Chapter, Etc.

I tried 'Duration' attribute under Audio but it does not display values for video files.

If i enable the information panel it would provide the information about the video but it would be great for the KDE 5 users to also have it as a column in the details mode where they could sort the videos based on duration.

I've opened a more generic request for video columns: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=366524

If my request isn't a duplicate of some other issue, please change the status of this bug to "depends on 366524".

Duration column working properly

The Audio > Duration column now seems to show video duration correctly as of Dolphin 16.12.3 and 17.08.0 (screenshot attached). But yes, it would be nice to have more video options in general. We're tracking that with KDE Neon User's bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=366524
