As the author doesn't have much time for his project and it is quite useful and gives really 1th class functionality to KDE Activities, I hope there is someone, who could take it and bring to users of Plasma 5. 
His project is open and the author don't mind, if someone will do it.

I doubt we track third-party plasmoids in the KDE bug tracker. Reassigning to Plasma developers.
