What is your system language? The Qt translations only follow the system language selection, I'm afraid. Created attachment 99073 [details]
Color Selection Dialog in Japanese UI
System language is Japanese.
Well, not only the OK/cancel button(Qt resource), window title, labels, buttons for this Color Selection dialog are in English.
The whole color dialog comes from Qt. I'm getting a bit desperate about this bug, because I definitely don't know what to do anymore. Created attachment 99244 [details]
Color dialog half-translated
If, with the current build, I simulate a Japanese environment with set LANG=ja, and then start krita, I get a translated color dialog. I suspect that what's missing is actually not translated and that we should find a way to kick the Qt translators into overdrive.
(Note, this is Windows Krita running in Wine under Linux...)
Tested krita-3.0-9e17aff-x64.zip, the result is the same as boud's post("Pick Screen Color" remains in English - Qt translation is missing for the phrase?) Well, the state is almost ok practically, anyway...
I think we need to start discussing the qt translations with the kde translation team. Technically, this bug is fixed now: the Qt translations are found now. Now we just need to get Qt up to snuff. |
