The pressure is lost when you restart the program. Anyway, the temporary solution is renaming the executable file. Every time you want to restart the program should rename the file krita.exe, so the pressure is not lost. This did not happen with 2.9.11 (either with Photoshop and SAI), but occurs with all versions of Krita 3 (alpha, beta and RC). Restarting the operating system windows one can reuse the original executable, but when you restart the program have to rename the executable file again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Starts krita and draw with pressure
2.Closes krita
3.Restarts krita and redraw

Actual Results:  
Draw without pressure this time

Expected Results:  
To restart krita, draw while still recognizing the pressure of the tablet

That sounds like a bug in the driver, to be honest. As if it registers its clients by name instead of process id. We still don't have a genius tablet to test with, so fixing a bug like this is going to be really hard...

It's a shame but it's not a bug that prevents me from using the program. tomorrow maybe I will report another 2 bugs that also happen always (a bug that leaves open all folders layer or group of layers, and another bug that causes a crash when one leaves open a document and after a few minutes doing something else in another window back to the window krita)

The issue with the layerbox showing all groups as open when you switch betwen images has already been reported. The other issue doesn't sound familiar at all. If you can reproduce it with a -dbg- build and get a backtrace, we might be able to do anything about it.

I'm sorry, but loss of wintab context when switching between applications is a bug in the genius drivers. We've also seen reports like this for other applications. Genius just has very, very horrible drivers.
