Hi, I'm using the official ppa kdenlive 'stable' following the advice in the blog post here ( https://kdenlive.org/node/9462 ) on Ubuntu 16.04. ( Cinnamon D.E. ). I saw missing icons in the 'Title Clip' creator. I made a screenshot in attachment.

Since the blog post, Kdenlive 16.04 has now been released and it is in the "testing" PPA. We still have to decide how to correctly handle our PPA's when a new version is released.

However I strongly encourage you to use the current "testing" branch which contains the last stable Kdenlive 16.04 release. The missing icons should be fixed in this version, and as a bonus you will get Krita image support tomorrow when the package is rebuilt...

Hi, thank you for the recommendation. I moved to the 'testing' ppa and tested, the icon are perfect in this version and I really like the new organisation of the text properties in tab on the right.

Here ( for information) is what I did to move from one PPA to another one :
sudo ppa-purge ppa:kdenlive/kdenlive-stable
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kdenlive/kdenlive-testing
sudo apt update
sudo apt install kdenlive frei0r-plugins
sudo apt dist-upgrade

... and I'll upgrade soon to play with new file import. Thank you!
