I have 
- ffmpegthumbnailer
- kffmpegthumbnailer
installed, but the video preview option is not available in dolphins settings.

Reproducible: Always

Installing  thumbnailer packages
- ffmpegthumbs
- mplayerthumbs
solved the problem.
