Description Christoph Thielecke 2016-04-26 12:22:29 UTC
In case I have a video which is flipped kaffeine is not detecting automaticlly the orientation. Also, I can't rotate it manually.

It would be nice if user can override the orientation.

Reproducible: Always

Kaffeine 1.2.x uses libxine as backend, with doesn't receive much updates lately. On Kaffeine version 1.3.x, it is now using libVLC with has been actively maintained. So, I guess this issue could have been already solved with the backend migration.

Could you please check if this issue still happens on Kaffeine 2.0.1?

Did some tests today, recording two videos on my cell phone, one landscape, the other one portrait. Kaffeine 2.0 did the right thing and rotated the landscape video, thanks to libVLC.
So, I'm closing this bug as FIXED.
