Which version of OSX are you on? And could you please try the 3.0 alpha for OSX? Never mind the version, that's in the crash report. Superfast response time! I downloaded Krita 3.0 Alpha 1 (from https://krita.org/item/krita-3-0-first-alpha-release/) and it only works for 10.11. Gave me the much needed kick to actually do the major upgrade (which is why it took me so long to respond). Happily the problem appears to have been resolved in the 3.0 alpha, I am able to open/import jpgs by either dragging and dropping or through the file menu. Hum, that version actually should have been able to run on 10.9 and 10.10 -- I test it in a 10.9 mac mini. It might be that 10.10 has its own weirdnesses, though, and I don't have that version to test with. |
