Description Ovidiu-Florin BOGDAN 2016-04-19 16:23:07 UTC
Rendering to webm or mp4 fails immediately after start with the following error:
"Cannot write to /home/ovidiu/ownCloud/Partajări/vlog #8/out.webm, check permissions."

Permissions are: drwxrwxr-x 1 ovidiu ovidiu 586 apr 19 18:13 vlog #8

Kdenlive is ran as the same user that owns the directory. The project being rendered is in the same directory.

Rendering to "/home/ovidiu/kdenlive" works. Since they are both on the same partition, same filesystem, I deduce that it has a problem with either non-ascii characters or with the space in the path.

I can perform additional tests if needed.

Reproducible: Always

I don't think that spaces should be a problem, because all my Kdenlive projects reside in a directory structure with spaces in their folder names.

Ovidiu, can you please check with recent Kdenlive 16.04.2 and MLT 6.2.0+ at least? Is the problem still persistent?
