Main window appears, directory tree in the left sidebar, a couple of fotos in middle window, the hangs (Windows: No Response).
Every time I start digiKam.
Uninstalled, reinstalled - same problem.
Database delete. Same problem.

I started working with digiKam just a few days ago, digiKam worked well on this system.

I deleted all the folders / files in the .kde directory.
The next start showed the assistent for the first start, now digiKam is working.

This was the second start after database deletion. The first start ended - after the question for the pictures path - in a long splash screen, then the view with directories and pictures came up.

Switched back to old database. Still working fine.

With next digiKam 5.0.0, we will provide a Windows version where this problem
do not exist anymore, Since KIOSlaves have been dropped from digiKam.
