At this version, I should trigger vim mode every time when I open a new file.
Pleas provide a option of vim mode globally or a shortcut key ( such as ESC) to enable it.
Juse make it like 4.x.

That's already possible:

Configure KDevelop -> Editor -> Editing -> Input Mode: Set Default input mode to "Vi Input Mode"
