The left menu. Album button is displayed, but other buttons are missing. If I click in the empty space below album, I get the «libellé» button, but «album» button disappears.
Also, not the main menu bar is in english, every thing else is in french (
Here is the result after having clicked in the empty space below «album». I get «libelle», but no more «album». I get the same behaviour with the right vertical menu bar. |

This is fully relevant of Breeze icon theme, probably missing on your computer... Gilles Caulier Your system icon theme has not the right icons for digiKam. 1. Install the Breeze icon package. 2. Select in digiKam or showFoto miscellaneous settings the Breeze icon theme. 3. Make a digiKam restart. Maik Hello Gilles and Maik. I have reported the bug again because the breeze icon theme was already installed in my computer. I remember the previous discussion after my first submission of the bug. However, Maik comment makes me discover that there are 2 places in Digikam where the theme can be set. One is in «settings» «Theme», where «Breeze» was already set, but still get the bug. But thanks to Maik, I have discovered that there is also a theme related setting in «settings»«configure digikam»«miscaleneous». This was not properly set in my configuration. When I did set Breeze here, and restart Digikam, everything went fine. So I guess it is not a bug, but it is quite confusing for me to have 2 places in the setting where the theme can be set. I thank you again for your help and for this great release. I particularly appreciate the work you have done to fix the panorama tools (works great now) and the date setting of the pano. *** Bug 362213 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Thank for this precisiom Philippe. You put me on the way. I set this two settings to Breeze, but without the desired effect. But i also set the settings that permit to see all titles in miscallenous. I don't have icon, but I can use the tools. (In reply to Gilles Turgeon from comment #7) > Thank for this precisiom Philippe. You put me on the way. Use you really digiKam5-beta6 or beta5. Or as in your bug report the version 4.14? Maik Under menu-> Settings-> Themes are the color schemes. In the miscellaneous settings can be found in digiKam5 actually also the icon theme. I see this option at the moment as a workaround for not KF5 desktops. Maik Sorry for the confusion. I am effectively with 4.12.0. This problem cannot be reproduced here with last 5.0.0-beta7. This file can be closed now ? Gilles Caulier Yes beta7 is really nice, thanks !
