(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: keditbookmarks
Version: KDE 2.2.1
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

When I add a bookmark via the right-click pop-up menu -> "Add to bookmarks" it is added correctly but the TITLE of the page is never saved as bookmark description but always the URL.

This is a bit uncomfortable as I always have to edit the bookmark to replace the URL in the bookmark title field with something more meaningful manually.

cheers
-Tim

the same basic problem so merging the bug reports.
its a difficult one to solve unfortunately, with drag and
drop i can get keditbookmarks to automatically update
the title from the webpage via the favicons update code.
konqueror on the other hand doesn't have any code to
do this background updating so i'll have to think of a neat
solution, could take a while :)
