Description Georgy 2016-04-03 10:22:53 UTC
After recent update to 5.6.1 I can't stretch panel to full horizontal size (1920) while using xmonad.
I tried to change panel's width manually in ~/.config/plasmashellrc and set this file to read-only (because plasma automatically changes it), but it didn't work. In previous version it automatically sets to 1920. Button "Stretch panel" in panel settings (may be it have another title in english localization of plasma) doesn't work too. And config reset doesn't work too. In default plasma session (without xmonad) panel width behaves right.
Seems like it was caused by this commit: https://github.com/KDE/plasma-desktop/commit/1f01ec6e4e86e395e7867e98b9461704bf6731fa .

Can you resize it and run "xprop" and click on the panel. Then attach the result.

Edit. Nevermind. Someone's already done that.
