The same, but crashes are very rare. And I don't know how to investigate this. I've tried to clean .cache https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=289&t=124690&p=328672&hilit=plasmashell+freeze#p328672 I've tried to change plasma theme, thought there is bug in them https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=360173 I've tried empty ~/ dir (I don't want to reinstall my system) I used minimal set of plasmoids: start menu, pager, icon-tasks, tray, clock. No luck. Yes I can connect to plasmashell via gdb or dbus, but for what?
