Since plasma 5.6.0 widgets in the taskbar make it unusable. If there's a widget in the taskbar what happens is, that no matter where you click the taskbar, it brings up the item that is the last one on the far right side. Also tasks become invisible.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Unlock widgets
2.Put a widget into the taskbar

Can you provide a screenshot of what you mean by widget and what you mean by the last item that is brought up?

I mean the same widget you can place on the desktop, and the last item is the one that is placed the most to the right side of the taskbar.

So this is a panel issue, not a Task Manager issue.
