Description Sudhir Khanger 2016-03-27 03:21:35 UTC
Icon-Only Task Manager tooltips show grouped windows without a title on mouse hover. It would be great if they were to show window title to easily distinguish between them.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Grouped window preview is shown without window title in Icon-Only Task Manager tooltip

Expected Results:
Window title should be shown when previewing more than one window in the Icon-Only Task Manager tooltip

I can confirm this behaviour on the latest applications release (5.6.4).
I think this could be considered an usability issue and code bug. I think that the default behaviour should be that when you hover on a selected window, the generic title on the bottom of the group to be replaced with the window title.

We show the window titles now as of KF 5.31/Plasma 5.94, at least.
