I have added Slack XMPP account to IM. Every time I open the conference channel second time I see just blank window with menu but without text area and tabs.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add XMPP account
2. Join conference channel
3. Close chat window
4. Join same conference channel one more time


Actual Results:  
See blank window with no tabs and text area.

Expected Results:  
Open conference chat.

I have same problem with a fresh install of KDE neon stable (KDE 5.9.3, KF 5.32, Qt 5.7.1).
Used gtalk (google) connection. In my case the textarea rarely (approx every 10th  times) getting visible on new chat window, but only when someone else pops it up (writes to me when no chat window is open).

UPDATE: I can rarely pop up chat window with textarea too by clicking on contact. The success rate is same (~1/10).

Thank you for reporting this issue in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version?
