kmail accepts an auto-fetch interval for most of the interfaces. However, using mbox as the receiving structure on cannot say "check for new mail every 5minutes". This used to work flawlessly in the past, it would be really good if this feature could be re-enabled. Thank you for looking into this,
take care

Dieter Jurzitza

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. choose "mbox" as the input box
2. fetch new mail that is present in the mbox
3. wait ....

Actual Results:
Your hair will turn grey, no auto - fetch feature is available - but exists for any other type of input source.

Expected Results:
guess what :-)

It would be nice to have the choice to add a "look for new email every 5 minutes" or something similar for mboxes as well. Used to work with good old kmail (1).

Hello Justin,
thank you for looking into this issue after close to seven years :-). Yes I can confirm that this property of kmail is missing since I entered this bug - and is still missing for reasons hard to understand. So it would still be great if someone would fix this issue.
Thank you
best
