tor%d directories are created in the directory of the .torrent files I open, while KDevelop 4.x saved them ~/.local/share/ktorrent/. This pollutes my file system.

sorry, cannot reproduce. there must be something special about your (or my) system. we need to find out what.

please take a look at Core::findNewTorrentDir() method located in ktorrent/core.cpp

Cannot reproduce on recent installations.
