I am testing kubuntu 16.04. Any attempt to login to kde fails. Dmesg shows this line:

[   21.188408] ksmserver[1641]: segfault at 1c536 ip 000000000001c536 sp 00007ffed55614a8 error 14 in kdeinit5[400000+d000]

Logging to xfce works fine.
