that's not a kdm problem. it's probably an x-server bug. as a workaround you may enable the TerminateServer option in the [X-:*-Core] section of kdmrc. it's also possible that you have a conflict with gpm if you're not using a repeater device. Sync sort order with file manager not only on initial launch If we obey the file manager sort mode, we should track that when navigating to other folders. Also make sure that if the user chooses a sorting mode themselves - we stop tracking the file manager sort mode.
