Description Max Schettler 2016-03-14 23:13:46 UTC
When using the "Desktop Effects" configuration menu, using the apply button renders the filter unusable. One can select its text but not edit it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open "Desktop Effects" configuration
2. Make a change to the configuration
3. Hit apply
4. Try to edit the filter

Actual Results:
Filter is not editable.

Expected Results:
Filter should be editable

Not reproducible here and EffectView.qml "id: searchField" does not seem to have a conditional enabled flag.
Is it really disabled or only detached from the view (ie. can you still edit the text, just that doesn't have any impact)?
Comment 2 Max Schettler 2016-03-14 23:37:11 UTC
I cannot edit the text, but there is also no graphical feedback of the bar being disabled, i.e. it's not greyed out.
Comment 3 Thomas Lübking 2016-03-14 23:57:49 UTC
Does it show a focus frame (when you click into it)?
Comment 4 Max Schettler 2016-03-15 08:03:17 UTC
When I click into or just hover the mouse over it the border is highlighted in a light blue instead of being gray. I use the default breeze theme.
