Description Ingo Ebel 2016-03-14 07:33:28 UTC
After updating to 3.0.2 on Plasma 5 yakuake is not really usable anymore cause I can't ajust the width or height anymore. Not with the mouse and not via context menu.
So the window is too small. I'm using a 4k Screen.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Yakuake
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Tried to make it bigger with mouse. Tried to use the context menus.

Expected Results:
Former versions where able to fit on the whole screen and to adjusted with the mouse.

Width/height configuration is the same as it has always been via the title bar menu or the config dialog.

Did take a look at my screenshot?
Width = 100%
height = 100%
but still its just a tiny window

the only thing that works is fullscreen mode.
i didn't find an other way to make the windows bigger but it was no problem with the old versions...

Do you use hidpi app scaling? If so, could you try setting the scaling to 1.0? I'm wondering if your screenshot is a bug that happens with higher scaling.

I switched the DPI of the fonts but tried it now with the original settings but no luck. Problem still exists.

I think it is more a problem with multiple monitors.
I could get yakuake running on monitor 2 but not on monitor 1 or 3.

On my Laptop the new version is also running without the scaling problem.

Can you check the "Scale" button in the monitor config in System Settings?
Comment 7 Ingo Ebel 2016-03-15 10:24:51 UTC
I did.
It is the standard setting. So 1
