it would be awesome to add the posibility to show the label (actions) in the panel and add an configuration to show icon, text and either.

So the bug report says it should be possible to have the compact representation either show the icon of the applet or, say "Windows" as the icon is not really descriptive.

This was done in Plasma 5.25. Bug 455560 requests making it optional, and that's in progress too.
