Description Ondřej Kučera 2016-03-05 16:34:23 UTC
When using OTR for chatting with a contact, no messages are saved to the history. I suppose this is done deliberately and I can even see the reasoning. Still it would be nice to have an option in the settings that I know what I'm doing and that I indeed do want to save even messages from an OTR session. (I trust my ability to protect the data on my hard drive generally much more than I trust the people I'm chatting with to do the same. If they use a different client which saves even OTR sessions, it's more likely the data are unsafe on their computer than on mine.)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start an OTR session to chat with somebody.
2. Check the history to see there are no messages from the session.

Actual Results:
Messages are not saved in the history.

Expected Results:
Messages are saved in the history (at least optionally).
