Description DrSlony 2016-03-04 15:36:19 UTC
Hello

Gwenview 15.12.1
_X11_PROFILE atom set and used correctly by gwenview for my JPEG images.

Download this image, it's in webp format:
https://plus.google.com/+JarrodCastaing/posts/ZmGMTjciN9W
Open in Gwenview. The image has wrong colors because the monitor color profile which is specified by _X11_PROFILE is not applied. Loading a JPEG image makes use of the monitor color profile.

If the image does not contain a color profile, it is OK to assume that it's in sRGB, but either way the monitor profile should still be used.

Reproducible: Always

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Gwenview 25.08.0 (the latest released version)?
