The animation layers area only show one layer even though there's a large space there. I can access the layers through a different menu but it's a pain.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open animation
2. Look at the layers.
3.

Actual Results:  
The only one layer shows

Expected Results:  
Showed all layers

You need to specify that a layer will always be visible in the timeline. This was done because a half-way complicated shot can have multiple animated elements that the animator might want to hide from the timeline so they can focus on the actual animation. Right-click a layer to have it always show in the timeline).
