After an awful lot of debugging and googling, I think I found the culprit. It seems to be the evince-browser-plugin. For whatever reason, konqueror tries to load it even when the link does not refer to a pdf file. The problem does to affect other web browsers (firefox, midori) which all share the same plugins. Anyway, the workaround it to remove evince-browser-plugin in case anyone encounters the same issue. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 340873 *** |
