Description Denis Savenko 2016-02-17 14:38:37 UTC
I upgraded to KDE neon from fresh kubuntu amd64 with last updates. Standard Neon system haven't some translating. I try install translate in Localization menu, but they haven't any language.
Then i try install standard package for translate for my language on terminal:

sudo apt install kde-l10n-ru

After this system try to delete this packages:

neon-desktop plasma-desktop plasma-desktop-data

I think it's normal and very dangerous that simple content packages delete all system. Maybe it was some problem with depending with kubuntu? Sorry if it's no so critical.

Closing as having no translations is a known issue and we'll work out how to deal with it at some future time

I add this bug, because i think problem not it translate. I think main problem in deleting all system after installing standard packages. Many people can do it and we should be honestly, that so many time we don't read output in terminal. I think we should write small warning or do it in other way ( alpha realize bug and warnings maybe )...

If you want to have KDE Neon gain population, I see it as a critical need to provide it in the local language of the users. Why can not the already existing translations be used? Even they might not be complete, it still would be better than nothing
