What do you mean by "search"? It doesn't have a search field. Yes, it does have a search field (or to be exact: a filter). When running `kcmshell5 fontinst` I see a search field on the right side above the font preview widget. I filtered by family and style, but I think I'm missing another category to filter by ? Ah sorry, I misunderstood. Yes, I can reproduce, still I'm unsure about what you're saying. Wouldn't this make the interface rather unpredictable? What's the use-case for filtering serif fonts? I'll add usability there. Sometimes I want to know "Which serif fonts do I have installed?". That's the use case. I can confirm: When filtering by style, all fonts matching the style entered should be found. I don't really know what else that filter type should be used for. Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved. |
