Hi, I got Kgpg to work in Ubuntu using with GNU Privacy Manager "Passwords and Keys"

Keypairs are made.
I can encrypt fine.

The problem is when decrypting a message the pinetry window opens, asking for passphrase,
will not let me PASTE in the passphrase neither with ctrl+v nor right-click paste. Well typing in random generated passphrases is not going to work.

For example: ~7vRy)^fVY}gfmSKa6?z{:@c3*

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Paste encrypted message
2.click on decrypt button
3. pinetry window opens, asking for passphrase
4. unable to paste in passphrase.

Actual Results:
frustration

Expected Results:
ability to paste pass phrase into field and click ok.

ok thanks.

Sorry, this is the wrong bugtracker for this. Pinentry is a totally separate component, in fact there are multiple versions, they are neither related to KDE nor to KGpg. I've tested it using pinentry-qt on my system, and it works fine.

On the other hand, the passphrase for the GnuPG key is a secret itself, having it stored elsewhere and pasted to GnuPG seems strange…

OK here's a screen shot see attached, using KGpg, I click on Decrypt and
this window pops up asking for my key

The problem is I can't past into the field. I use a password manager to
make complicated passwords. this happens in Tails too...

As I said: this is a pinentry problem, which is nothing I can do anything about. Please ask for help there. KGpg does not even trigger this window itself, it is triggered by GnuPG.
