Pi is in KDE CVS I see. I don't think c should be present - it is not a mathematical constant. Maybe in an "others" group? SQRT please. x^0.5 is not realy sexy - and not realy a common thing to know for the ordinary frogs. *** Bug 75571 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** It would also be really cool if a user could add their own constants. For example, for some of the networking stuff I do I'm frequently using numbers like 2488320000 (OC-48 bit rate). *** Bug 78052 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I have added some physical constants in the CVS-tree for the KDE-3.4 version. Maybe more constants would be better, but the infrastructure is there, so if anyone would like to add more, just tell me (or add them yourself). The problem with sqrt has been fixed a long time ago, and the required HEX-mode functions are also there. Klaus Guys still no sqrt button? At least I learnt that x^0.5 works but this one is really needed! cyclotron@freestateprojects.org, there *is* a square root button, it's been there for quite some time. In either Science or Statistic mode, click on "Shift" and the "x²" button will turn into "√x". As with other calculators, the "Shift" function will present inverted operations for many of the buttons. Also, please don't post the same comment on multiple bugs. |
