Recently, updates to Windows 10 have been breaking Krita's tablet support left and right... Reinstalling Krita will never do anything since you're replacing the old bits on your disk with exactly the same bits. Reinstalling the wacom drivers sometimes helps, but not always. Some people report that removing the Krita configuration from appdata/roaming helps; we don't know why yet because the config file doesn't store anything related to tablet configuration. Please try: close krita press windows-r type appdata in the run dialog press ok navigate to the Roaming folder in the file explorer window rename the krita folder to krita_bak start krita and try again. If krita now works, please attach the krita_bak/share/config/kritarc file to this bug report. Despite Boudewijn mentioning windows 10, his instructions also work on windows 8. We've just been overflooded with tablet pressure issues since windows 10 became widely adopted, on top of genius stopping their tablet driver support, and we've also rewritten tablet support for 3.0, so we get a little scatterbrained in regards to what solution might work for which person. :) I did what you described above, but it only succeeded in deleting all my custom brushes and presets (I had been trying to do that, so that's a good thing), but the pressure is still not working. Thank you for your help, but I'm probably going to have to wait until 3.0 comes out because you all have much on your plates for bug-fixing with Windows 10 out. Thank you! With wacom, pressure support _really_ should work out of the box: if the driver is installed, it should work with Krita. Did the 3.0 pre-alpha work for you? Does 3.0 final release work for you? |
