I see nepomuk in crash trace. Did you enable Baloo support options in digiKam Metadata settings page ? If yes, it's know to make digiKam unsuitable due to bugs in KDE::Baloo interface. Disabling this option must fix the problem. Gilles Caulier To my knowledge I did not enable Baloo support. Is it enabled by default? No, it's disabled by default at compilation time. This is why i surprised to see it in the trace. Can you run digiKam into GDB as explained here : https://www.digikam.org/contrib Gilles Caulier I cannot run it into GDB as I did not install it via macports. I installed the provided Mac OS X package digikam-4.13.0-Yosemite.pkg found here: http://download.kde.org/stable/digikam/. Any other suggestions? Thanks! Run digiKam from a console and report all printed messages before the crash. Gilles Caulier digiKam 5.0.0-beta7 Installer for MacOSX is now available for testing... https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7yq-xFihT0_ZjlIazRPb1lRTEE Gilles Caulier Don, Do you seen my previous comment ? Gilles Caulier For me, with last digiKam 5.0.0 PKG for MacOS, i cannot reproduce a similar crash. I close it. Re-open if necessary. Gilles Caulier |
