Currently there doesn't seem to be a way setting to change the search results like there is in Krunner with Plasma Search.

Recommend a similar way to change search results: enable/disable showing bookmarks, documents, etc.

Reproducible: Always




Tested on KDE Plasma 5.5.4 on Antergos (Arch) Linux x64.

Makes sense.

Kicker (the other launcher) has a single entry "expand search results to bookmarks, files and emails". 

At the least we should unify the launchers, though full seclection might be better

I'd see bringing our launchers up to par as the first priority (can this perhaps also be shared on a technical level?). Further expanding the feature could come later.

Also I've noticed that it *is* possible to change the runners not in the UI by settings
runners=services,places,shell,bookmarks,recentdocuments,locations,baloosearch

in your ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc on the kickoff applet

there's just no uI at present
