b) is already in master, in that you can take a rectangular shot with a keyboard shortcut, but Spectacle closes after the shot has been taken. As for a), the keyboard shortcuts are meant to be a quick way to take shots and continue without interrupting your work. After b), we already use up 4 keyboard shortcuts; I'm definitely not going to add more. That said, nothing stops you from defining your own shortcuts in System Settings for your needs. Run `spectacle --help` to see a list of command-line options you can use. You won't be able to configure shortcuts inside Spectacle because the shortcuts aren't handled by Spectacle. They're handled by KHotkeys and they need to be configured by KHotkeys. |
